How We Create Relationships with Our Project Owners: We value our clients

Relationships matter in construction, just as much as having an expert team and top-notch equipment. Completing a build of any size and scope is a partnership between the project owner and the general contractor (and the rest of the construction team).

The GC-owner relationship can be complicated, even testy. Sometimes, project owners are wary of GCs because they think GCs will take advantage of them. At Seacoast Construction, we value relationships and strive to build solid ones with our clients.

Building Trust

From the start of every project, we act in good faith. We do everything we say and present ourselves honestly and professionally. This establishes trust and integrity with our clients. We always speak openly, honestly, and frankly to project owners about every aspect of the build.

Aligning Goals

Before beginning a project, we meet with owners, stakeholders, and project managers to outline objectives and create a plan for achieving them. We go over everyone’s role and explain the process. This lets everyone know that we are working together from the start.

Planning and Collaborating

Builds couldn’t happen without a solid team and a specific plan. We take a team approach with each project, and the owner is a major player on the team. Establishing camaraderie from the beginning lets each player take ownership of their individual role, and the build runs smoothly.

Communicating Openly

Miscommunication and non-communication lead to mistakes, cost overruns, and getting off schedule. With each of our builds, we establish a communication strategy, fostering ongoing communication with everyone involved, especially the owner. Keeping the owner in the loop with good news and the occasional misstep maintains an open dialogue and strong relationship.

Delivering Results

Performance is what solidifies or destroys the relationship. Our clients are important to us, and we care about delivering quality builds. We know that clients notice our attention to detail and how much we value our relationships.

At Seacoast Construction, we know that building relationships are essential to successful builds. We always meet our clients’ goals and objectives. If you’re planning a build, give us a call at 786-433-8740 to schedule a consultation.
