• Tip #3: Hire a local and highly experienced contractor – Building in Florida is not like building elsewhere in the country. Interview several general contractors who are local to the area before ultimately deciding which experienced team is right for your project.
• Tip #4: Just start – While the climb ahead may look daunting, the time is now if you want to take on a project in SoFla. With high demand and tough competition for supply, you may have to readjust your timeline expectations, but that shouldn’t hinder you from pursuing the project.
