We Ask All of Our Clients One Question. Here’s What It Is

We are committed to building long-lasting relationships with our clients, based on trust, mutual respect, and open lines of communication. Each of our projects is a partnership.

That’s why when we meet with clients to discuss new projects, we always ask them one specific question: Have you ever been a part of a large-scale build in the past?

Of course, we discuss a lot more, but that one question is the really the most important. Here’s why.

We want to gauge your understanding.

We want to ensure that our clients fully understand the endeavor they’re taking on. Construction is complicated and chaotic. It involves a lot of people and a lot of steps, all of which can be overwhelming. As general contractors, we’ll handle most of the heavy lifting. However, you, the project owner, will be part of it all.

We want to involve you.

Our approach is to be transparent and communicative. Just because you hire us and have an architect and engineer on board doesn’t mean that you won’t be involved. If a GC ever tells you that you don’t need to be involved with the project, let that be a big red flag.

We want you to know the process.

We involve our clients in every aspect of the build—pre-construction, budgeting, scheduling, and all the other steps. We want you to be familiar with the process, so that the completed project meets your needs and goals (if you haven’t been involved in a large-scale project before, that’s fine. We just change how we share information with you).

We want you to be comfortable.

Not only do we want you to understand the process and what it takes to complete a large-scale commercial building project, we also want you to be comfortable with us and how we do things. We go out of our way to make our clients comfortable with us. We communicate well and often. We keep you in the loop and build strong, long-term relationships.

We want to create a team.

Every construction project is a team effort. It would be impossible to build anything without at an essential group of people—each with a vital role. We work together with you and the rest of the team to build a successful project. The better the team, the more likely the project will stay on time and on budget. We’re all in this together. We’ll require things of you, just like you’ll require things of us.

We always want to understand how familiar our clients are with the building process. And, if you are new to large-scale building, we are here to educate you and walk you through the process. We will answer any questions that you have and share any information that you need.

Let Seacoast Construction be a part of your build. We are experienced and care about building relationships with our clients. Give us a call at 786-433-8740 to schedule a consultation.
