New Construction

St. John’s

Designed by a famous Spanish architect, this brand-new construction was built by Seacoast Construction from the ground-up. Noteworthy features of this project include the sunken sanctuary, the reflecting pool with colonnades, a baptismal font at the entry, and the standalone column upon which a bronze statue of Mary holding Jesus stood.

Most notable, however, was the way we constructed the upper roof. We built it on the ground and then used a crane to lift the entire upper roof onto the building and bolted it to the existing roof. While this undertaking required immense precision, it also saved us an entire month of work by constructing it in this method.
